Grooming is an important part of pet care. Depending on the breed, age, and health of your pet, grooming may even need to be a part of your pet’s daily routine. Many breeds require less grooming than this, but regular grooming always helps to keep your pet healthy and comfortable.
Some breeds like Poodles don’t shed their hair effectively and require grooming by a professional every 6-8 weeks. Long-haired cats can particularly benefit from regular grooming as it helps prevent the formation of knots in the coat and hairballs in the stomach.

We continue to offer sedated grooms for cats and dogs who do not tolerate the grooming process. These are basic grooms only (no style clips) and are performed by either our nurse or groomer, depending on availability.
We use professional grooming tools—brushes, clippers, stripping combs, slicker brushes, rakes, and dryers—to ensure the best results for your pet. Where appropriate, we wash your pet with a suitable shampoo and conditioner to bring out the shine and maintain coat health.
