Gavin Rippon
Veterinarian and Hospital Director (Bachelor of Veterinary Science BVSC)
Qualifications – Bachelor of Veterinary Science
Started working at Camvet in 1992
Interests within the field – “I have enjoyed being a general practitioner for the length of my career and have recently become more involced in reptile medicine as they become more popular pets”
Outside interests – Travelling with husband Brendon, Jig Saw puzzles and hanging out with furry children
Claire D'Alpuget
Veterinarian (Bachelor of Veterinary Science BVSC)
Qualifications – Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Bachelor of Animal Science

Interests within the field – “ I have a keen interest in behavioural medicine to understand how our animals minds work and to be able to improve the bond between owners and pets. I enjoy improving/developing positive client/vet relationships so that we can work with and strengthen our local community bonds”
Outside interests – Hiking, trail running, cooking, enjoying nature with her partner and dogs.

Interests within the field – “I have a real passion for veterinary surgery and love the hands-on, practical side of it. I find it incredibly rewarding to help animals through surgical care and am always keen to keep learning and improving my skills”
Outside interests – Playing the keyboard and guitar, going to the beach and learning to dance.

Kevin
In memory of our beloved clinic cat
Kevin was Camvet’s much-loved resident cat and quickly became a favourite among staff, clients, and patients alike. With his calm and chilled-out nature, Kevin helped many of our boarding cats feel more settled and at ease during their stay.
Kevin’s favourite pastimes were eating, sleeping, and soaking up plenty of chin rubs from anyone willing to give them. He will always hold a special place in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.
